Quebec Meetings Filled with Friendship

District General Meetings were held in 35 different homes across Québec in November. The 550 people, who attended, shared knowledgeable presentations, inspired experiences, joyful songs, and heartfelt connections with new friends.
Over one-third of those who attended were guests, people new to Buddhism, who came curious to find out what SGI Buddhism has to offer. Many of the guests spoke about how they were looking for a new kind of religion or spirituality, one that was modern and offered real solutions to the problems in our world, both personal and societal.
At some of the district meetings, people joined SGI Canada as official members, making the commitment to pursue their Buddhist practice. Throughout Québec Region, there is a palpable sense of momentum, of moving
